How It Works
Properly’s latest functionality displays whether a service provider was at the correct location when they tapped “Start” and “Finish” on a job assignment. This capability serves dual purposes: it keeps hosts and property managers informed about job progress, while simultaneously enhancing the service provider’s rating.
Provider Rankings
Community service providers who consistently start jobs at the proper location receive higher rankings in the provider list that hosts and property managers view when sending job requests.
Feature Requirements
The feature only operates when a service provider has Location Services enabled within the app. In cases where Location Services aren’t activated, a gray question mark appears with the message: “We cannot verify the location of the Service Provider.”
Distance Verification
If a provider is more than 0.2 miles (approximately 322 meters) from the job address when tapping “Start Job,” a red “X” displays with the message: “Service Provider has Location Services turned on and was not at the correct location.”
