Properly now supports the ability to connect iCal and other URL-based calendars to properties for synchronizing bookings across multiple listing platforms. This feature accommodates hosts and property managers who advertise on platforms beyond Airbnb, HomeAway, BookingSync, and Orbirental.
Key Features
The integration allows users to:
- Connect iCal or other URL calendars to any property and sync those bookings
- Display connected listing accounts in a dedicated property view column
- Paste calendar URLs directly into each property’s profile
Setup Instructions
Prerequisites
Users must disconnect any existing Airbnb or VRBO/HomeAway accounts that have corresponding iCal links to prevent duplicate bookings. Properties, checklists, and job history remain preserved after disconnection.
Connection Process
- Navigate to Connected Accounts via Profile dropdown
- Click edit next to the relevant account
- Select Disconnect Account
- Access individual property pages and select the Connections tab
- Paste the iCal link in the designated field
Each property requires its own unique calendar URL for booking synchronization.
Supported Platforms
The feature works with iCal URLs exported from:
- Google Calendar
- Booking.com
- Wimdu
- And many other platforms that support iCal export
